Partnering with public institutions on a voluntary basis to translate research in energy policy, utility regulation and performance evaluation, equitable policy design, climate and sustainability governance, policy and program design and evaluation, and inclusive stakeholder engagement into evidence-informed and actionable governance strategies.
As part of my academic and public service mission, I seek to engage with local governments and public institutions through scholarly outreach and knowledge sharing. My goal is to support evidence-informed public decision-making and strengthen transparent, accountable, and effective public institutions by bridging the gap between academic research and policy practice.
My perspective is grounded in interdisciplinary training and ongoing research into utility governance, regulatory environments, and justice-oriented infrastructure policy. I view collaboration with public officials as a vital form of academic-practitioner engagement that informs my scholarly work and contributes to the public interest.
Scholarly Interests & Research Collaboration Areas I am interested in connecting with public institutions for research partnerships and data-driven insights in the following areas:
Energy policy, utility governance, and regulatory analysis
Energy affordability, equity, and justice-oriented policy design
Climate action planning and sustainability strategy development
Energy efficiency policy, benchmarking, and performance evaluation
Policy and ordinance design, evaluation, and implementation strategy
Utility and infrastructure evaluation and benchmarking
Institutional analysis and governance design for public infrastructure systems
Public engagement, stakeholder processes, and evidence-informed decision support
This engagement is provided on a voluntary, academic basis as part of my scholarly and public service activities. These collaborations are intended to support public institutions seeking to strengthen institutional capacity and advance equitable and sustainable infrastructure systems through the application of academic research and analysis.
If you are a public official or institutional representative and believe my research expertise may be helpful to your organization's mission, I welcome the opportunity to discuss potential research-based collaboration.
